Begin each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. with coffee and refreshments while meeting new friends or catching up on the latest news with old friends. At 9:45 make your way to any one of a number of Sunday school and Bible study classes.

Classes are provided for virtually any age or interest, from children four and up to specially designed curriculums for our youth, through classes specifically geared to the elderly and their parents. Choose the one that is right for you and enjoy a morning of Christian learning and fellowship. There is sure to be a class that you will feel is made "just for me".

Our Sunday morning worship begins promptly at 11:00 a.m., but you'll want to be there a little early so that you can "meet and greet" folks you didn't see at Sunday school (There are always a few).

FBC's music program, led by Harry Gilbert and ably assisted by Clarence Burlingame on the organ and Melba Akins on the piano, is second to none in our area. Here you will enjoy both the old standard hymns as well as the new Christian classics. Special musical solos and presentations are the norm rather than the exception. As always at First Baptist, you are welcomed and invited to take part.

Matthew McDaniel, our pastor, conducts the overall worship service in a relaxed and confident manner. Delivering Christianity's message in a topical and cogent fashion, Matthew is easy to listen to and understand and yet dispenses wisdom beyond his years.

Return to the fold Sunday at 6:00 p.m. for our evening worship service. In a generally more relaxed atmosphere, you will enjoy the message and the messenger as well as more fine music.

Wednesday evening worship begins with a well prepared meal starting at 5:30 p.m., followed at 6:00 p.m. by a full schedule of activates for the children, including AWANA, the youth and the adults. Check our complete calendar for a full listing of the many events taking place at First Baptist.
